FRANNY HAS A NEW SUITOR
FRANNY AND BUDDY (THE NEW DOG)
Our little mutts seem to finally come to an agreeable play pattern which is good, being they might be living together for the next many years (hopefully)...
Ruth is overloaded I think because in the last two days she has "misplaced" several hundred dollars which she just can't afford to do...so I am hoping she finds the money where ever she left it... losing money is always a disaster and even worse when it is a lot of money.
Ruth is doing her workshops in Shamanism this week, which means I am on my own for most of the day and night...which also means it is kind of a nice break for a couple days but then it is just odd being solo again. Life is much more interesting with my npartner.
I am working on a couple of things at the moment...the first being a mural/billboard for the Mineshaft Tavern seen below as it is in progress as far as layout...nothing actually made yet.
Other than that, back to the old wood-working table making a table for my ex-wife, Chrissie.
Franny the Chihuahua is having a rough time with our new addition...him always trying to nail her and her not really appreciating the attention...so hopefully they will work it out or the worst alternative for Buddy is to get clipped...which will save him a whole lot of trouble even if they would have had very interesting little puppies.
Ruth thinks Franny might already be pregnant because she seems so lethargic and that may be as it only takes a little dip of the old noodle for a new world to begin...but personally I have not witnessed anything that should suggest it has happened.
So it appears we have taken another little creature into our midst...his name at the moment is Buddy, which seems to fit him good enough because he is pretty sweet and very affectionate...I think he 's mixed Dachshund and maybe blue heeler...
My home away from home and goings-ons at the chocolate shop...
IN THE STUDIO STUFF
It was a Friday the 13th in 2000 just about this time of year when the VA doctor told me I had Prostate Cancer...I nearly fell out of the chair...and it took about a year to accept the idea that I had a potentially deadly disease and my time on Earth suddenly had numbers attached...
Well...here I am in 2012 and I still have Prostate Cancer and the idea that numbers are attached to my days is also hanging around...
What can you say? Life is BIG but it is also very SHORT.
WE SHOULD LIVE EVERY DAY LIKE ITS OUR LAST.
YOU NEVER KNOW. IT COULD BE.
Anyway my beautiful little girlfriends came out to see me yesterday.
little Xenia is prettier every day...
...and that is Armando holding Xenia and looks like she got a bangle from him...

Little Xenia at 9 months, tries her version of playing a spoon...as mother Rowan beams with pride.
...and then the cat world which has taken about ten minutes for them to figure out how to break out...
Okay, yesterday was of course April Fools Day and so sadly I have to report I did not get that lovely little kitty-cat thingmebob...maybe one day...
Instead yesterday I spent most of the day working on the new CAT WORLD/ CHIHUAHUA GARDEN which hopefully will keep the animals inside we love and the animals outside that want to eat our loved ones...we will see, in the mean time until I get some ivy to grow up around the enclosure it looks like a concentration camp for hippies...
APRIL 1 SUNDAY
As you may know, we recently lost one of our favorite cats but Ruth is so kind she went out and found me a new pussy. The only thing is I am pretty sure she is not house trained. I think I can deal with it for a while.
I just love the way she purrs....
