ZEN COWBOY

Dec.  28 FRIDAY
What else to do but collect wood from the Bosque and putter...so I have been thinking what to give my daughter for her b-day this Sunday...

Dec. 26

As you may have noticed the world did not come to an end nor have the bills stopped coming...so we might a well sing some happy songs to conclude the end of this year.
This is my debut album never released except in my fantasies...here performing with the famous Jim Almond.

Dec. 21, 2012
Still  waiting for the end of the world...
Dec. 19, Wednesday

It was really cold and biter wind blowing all day..

Dec.17, Monday
Little Grand-Daughter and little puppies...such a long way from the tragedy of  today's wacka-doos...

Dec. 13 Thursday
The puppies AT 5 WEEKS OLD...

THE EL MADRID LOUNGE IN ABQ
...AND THE FIRST MURAL I DID IN \NEW MEXICO IN 1986...

...graffitied by some unknown piece of caca after 26 years never being touched...

Dec.9 Sunday

Dec.6 Thursday
It doesn't look a big deal, but I spent all day cleaning the hot tub.

DEC.3 MONDAY
And here goes the COUNTDOWN...ONLY 18 DAYS until THE END OF THE WORLD...

Ruth and I have been discussing this theory now for over six years, and it seems, SUDDENLY  it is almost here.

Really I don't know what to think about it being it is so science fiction AND UTTERLY unbelievable, but then when the day comes that one actually dies that too seems so remote, so far-fetched, no one wants to accept it has come...

Personally, I hope everything continues as it is and all we have to worry about is the probable conclusion that MANKIND will manage to exterminate our species through one ecological disaster or other and still the possibility that the war lunatics will bring on the nuclear dooms day my generation was brought up to believe...

At any rate, Ruth is hell-bent on having the PARTY LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW party and is panicking about spending the money it is going to cost. Today she went to ABQ to pay her taxes and also buy a revolver just in case the worst  comes about.

Meanwhile I continue to go down to the river and collect firewood as well as manicure the dead from the living...or as my motto goes:
CLEAN AWAY THE DEAD AND THE LIVING WILL RETURN

Perhaps this is the theme of the GODS as well...

The old Van back in place for XMAS.

Hard to see the difference, but if you look closely many dead branches have been removed as I slowly reopen an old Bosque trail overgrown in the last 20 years...
